Hmm I’m not entirely sure the problem is Anji’s type (or similar) of parenting. Trying to teach your child that people are accountable to each other and not putting adults on a pedestal is not the same as allowing kids and teens to think they can question anyone and anything whenever they feel like it to derail a discussion or task.I like the tactic of asking them to come back later if they want to discuss things further though, allowing for serious concerns to be heard at an appropriate time.

Enjoyed this puzzle but needed your help for the last five words. Thought teasel was spelt with a ‘z’ and also that the Swiss cheese had an ‘h’ in it — though I see from the photo that it hasn’t. I don’t really understand the explanation for 13a, though I put the right word in anyway (that often happens) and I don’t like clues like 17a where you have to find a synonym as well as an anagram. Will just have to get used to it. Practise, practise!My favourite clue was 18a.

I have lost a lot of weight on a treadclimber. I have the Bowflex Treadclimber TC5000. It was kind of expensive but they had a finance plan. You may be able to get a good used one for much less than a new. But the workouts burn calories like crazy. It is like a cross between a treadmill and a stairstepper. Good Luck
